AdMob CEO Omar Hamoui on Google and Apple

AdMob is the only real major advertising platform on the current iPhones and iPads.

However with Apple announcing news term of service is iOS4 this means any 3rd party applications cannot send data to a 3rd party provider like AdMob does.

This could mean Apple shuts AdMob out of the iPhone and iPad markets which would be a huge blow for AdMob.

AdMob was purchased by Google for $750 million in stock and no doubt Apple does not want any more Google advertising inside applications.

As a result Apple have been working on a new advertising platform for developers – the iAD advertising system.

Below is a video of Omar giving his thoughts on the FTC, Apple and Google.
