Facebook has created a video on their new Geolocation feature – Facebook places.
The tools aims at ‘connecting’ friends when they are out and about. Facebook also goes on to say that more and more people are going to use geo-location apps like this.
Facebook is making a pitch to become even more of a tool in your everyday life.
It will be interesting to see what this does to Foursquare as the problem with Foursquare is all your friends may not use the product – and also Foursquare is a stand alone product in its own right.
You probably have most of your friends on your Facebook account – so using Facebook places as a geolocation application is much more useful.
