Facebook releases brand new iPhone and iPad applications

We have all waiting for this for sometime.

Facebook have built from the ground up new iPhone and iPad applications.

I noticed this status update from Mark Zuckerberg this morning

Key points to note from this update:

- The app really does load content faster, and it feels it
- Photos load MUCH faster than previously
- There is a new design Like button

One thing I’ve noticed (and other users) is that the app doesn’t have a share button. So you can’t share someone elses status update like on the website.

All in all – a good update we have needed.
