Facebook will soon be launch location-based feature, but the company has denied reports that it is already working with marketing partners on the product.

We dont really know any more than that at the moment however the code for this feature is available on the touch.facebook.com site.

Facebook has release several statements in regards to continued talk around their location feature.

“We have been working on a location feature for a while but don’t have immediate plans to announce anything,”

“There are currently no plans to add marketing partners to this programme. We only launch products to marketers if it is already popular with people and there is a clear benefit for people and companies alike.”

Facebook will be entering an already established market, such as established Geo-location services Foursquare and Gowalla.

Foursquare commented recently they have almost 750,000 users after 1 year of operation.
