Whilst we cant get our hands on the iPad in Australia just yet, Geo-location social service Gowalla has released their iPad application last week.
I would have thought Gowalla would priorities realeasing their Blackberry application, which is due out in about 2 weeks according to their CEO Josh Williams.
Foursquare on the other hand is holding off on a native iPad application for now. Foursquare CEO, Dennis Crowley comments: ‘We are still seeing explosive growth on iPhone, Blackberry and Android devices, so we are going to focus on those in the short term’
It’s clear for both these Geo-location services to get across as many high user platforms as possible – FAST.
Foursquare looks to be in the lead, but it is still anyones game.
