on October 25, 2013 | Instagram | Comments (0)

Instagram have just announced how their first ads and sponsored posts will look on their site.

Earlier in the month Instagram told their community ads were coming, and now the first brands to have signed up for Instagram’s advertising include: Ben & Jerry’s, Burberry, General Electric, Lexus, Levi’s®, Macy’s, Michael Kors, PayPal and Starwood – according to the Instagram site.

Here is a preview of how the ads will look: instagramad

The company goes on to say “Our aim is to make any advertisements you see feel as natural to Instagram as the photos and videos many of you already enjoy from your favorite brands.”

Instagram also mentioned that they will use some of your Facebook data and interests to help determine what ads should be shown to you.
