LinkedIn now 7 years old

Just last week LinkedIn turned 7 years old, birthday time!

LinkedIn was launched May 2003, which makes it older than several other social media/networking sites.

As we mentioned LinkedIn stats recently – 65 million users have signed up to the service, and around 1 million in Australia.

There have been estimates of LinkedIn’s value in the $1.2-1.4 Billion range.

Considering LinkedIn does not have any clear rival – it seems sure that their growth will continue powering along.
