This week’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney provided runway coverage for more than the usual elite, fashion crowd by streaming digital content and constant social media interaction. The week-long festival sparked digital conversations across the globe as thousands flocked to social networks to get a glimpse of Sydney’s fashion trends.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival website incorporated live Twitter feeds, high-resolution videos from the catwalk and up-to-date event news.  With Sydney at the center of the fashion world, @MBFFSydney  linked to local media articles and sponsors’ Facebook pages, so faithful fashionistas didn’t miss a moment of the event.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival marked its fourth year in the city with affordable shows open to the general public, classy after parties and a look at Sydney’s fashion favourites.

The social media component created opportunities for brand interaction with Mercedes-Benz and other event sponsors. From fashion bloggers to designers, the social media world was buzzing with fashion trends and #MBFFS favourites.
