New Tourism Australia Ad is a Hit on Social Media
The newly launched Tourism Australia TV spot has been a hit and miss with industry folk. Some local critics have gone as far as calling it “embarrassing”.
But the social media community have shed a positive light on the campaign. In the first week, overseas markets has been supportive with research completed by Webtrends showing that 70% of chit chat over social media has been positive vs 30% being negative with the ad being described as “horrendous” and “embarrassing”.
