Ricky Ponting said he is happy for players to use social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook while touring England.
However the English teams management has banned the use of these social networking sites and have also put clauses in players contracts stipulating the terms.
Ponting believes if the players are promoting the game, either through traditional methods or social media – he doesn’t have a problem with it.
