SocialShout! – Rewards from Social Networking

How much time and effort have you put into building your social network and general social media presence?

You know, searching and inviting all your friends to join you ; inundating them with endless (and often mindless) updates on what you’re doing, where you’re doing it and who you’re doing it to ; uploading pictures of you at a your favourite restaurant, trying on a new pair of pants or of a random chance meeting with a semi-famous local celebrity?

But in doing so, you have also created what brands, businesses and merchants consider GOLD. You’ve built a network of people who are interested in what you have to say and will most likely listen when you tell them about a particular product, brand or business that’s relevant to you.

OK, so, why isn’t there a simple platform where you get some sort of discount based on the size and strength of your social network? Well, now there is – SocialShout!

At SocialShout! users earn points based on how active and how connected they are across the various social networks. Users get points for what they’ve done in the past as well as for what they do in the future. They can then use those points to access great discounts, deals and offers from partner merchants. Then, when they buy a deal, a SHOUT! is automatically posted across that user’s social graph.

So, users win by getting discounts on the stuff they want, while merchants and brands win by getting word of mouth advertising across the social networks. Even a user’s friends win too by getting news and information on great discounts and deals from a relevant and trusted source – their friend.

Real people, buying real products from real merchants and sharing the experience with their real friends.

There’s also a cool Leaderboard feature whereby users can vie for top spot or status levels on the Leaderboards of the products and brands that they like. Merchants can then use these Leaderboards to identify and target key individuals based on their location, interests and of course their points total. Remember, the more points a user has, the louder they can SHOUT!
