Social Networking has been around since the days of MySpace, which was launched in August 2003.

Since then many Social Networking websites have been created, some for personal use, others for business.

These days the most popular social networking website would have to be Facebook with 700 Million members, and a growth curve that doesn’t look to be slowing up.

In Australia we are some of the most frequent users of Social Media sites mainly due to our good Australian mateship in my view.

For business the most popular social site would be LinkedIn and around 2 million accounts have been created in Australia.
