Belinda Neal Twitter rant

New South Wales politician Belinda Neal has sparked an angry reaction from fellow Twitter users after she had a rant on Twitter about the Australia Labour Party all leaving the office early on Friday afternoon.

Belinda tweeted “The NSW Branch of the ALP has all gone home early. The only person in the office is the receptionist at 3pm on a Friday.”

Sam Dastyari who is the State secretary wrote back to Belinda Neal via Twitter: “Not at all. Working hard with the whole team”.

However Paul Howes who is the federal secretary of the Australian Workers Union tok a more hard-line approach to Belinder’s comment.

“Poor form @BelindaNealMP having a crack at the office staff who work crazy hours is low – but we’ve come to expect that from you”
