Booyah! secures $20 Million in venture funding
Booyah! a rival to Foursquare in the Geo-location mobile application space has secured a further $20 Million venture capitalist funding.
Booyah! has released the iPhone application MyTown and Keith Lee who is the CEO says the funding will gBooyah! secures $20 Million in venture fundingo towards hiring new staff and building new projects.
MyTown has around 2 million users growing at 100,000 per week, which is almost double that of Foursquare.
It is predicted other social giants like Facebook and Google may join the Geo-location space too. Time for innovation surely.
Booyah’s MyTown is much more a game, almost like Monopoly.
