Facebook close to announcing 500 Million members

Facebook is close to announcing that they have hit 500 million users.

This milestone will really highlight its status as one of the webs biggest and most influential companies.

The upcoming movie on Facebook, The Social Network has the tagline ‘500 million friends’ so it seems everything is well timed.

Due to this big event, Facebook is asking many of its employees to upload photos of themselves celebrating about the feat and thanking its users. All of those photos will be hosted on one Drop.io account.

Facebook should be releasing some photos in due course.
