Facebook Launches Location Features – Facebook Places
Facebook has now officially launched their own Geo-location app inside Facebook – Facebook places.
The Facebook iPhone application has been updated however when you go to click ‘Places’ it says the function in not available in our area yet.
This is exciting stuff and may pose a real threat to Foursquare.
It will be exciting to see what happens are the service becomes fully active and usable in Australia – and the take up it receives.
