Facebook Messenger Desktop App – Win7

Facebook is beta testing a new Windows 7 Desktop Application that lets you chat to your friends without being on the Facebook.com website.

Similar to Windows Live Messenger, the application will let you:

– Message and Chat with your Facebook friends

– Get notifications as they happen on Facebook, eg someone liking your photo

– See the ticker updates

This desktop app is only available on Windows 7 machines. Currently the beta testing is closed, but Facebook will be opening it up to more users soon.
