Facebook Subscriptions Button
Facebook has created a Subscriptions button, which appears underneath your profile picture when viewing your own profile.
Think of the subscription button like the Twitter Follow button.
You can opt-in to this service, this will let anybody (eg people who you arn’t friends with) subscribe to your updates (follow you).
However that user will only be able to see Public status updates. All your private/ custom status updates remain visible only to your friends/ custom lists.
