Facebook the movie coming – The Social Network
Columbia Pictures (in association with Sony Pictures) has recently released the first trailer for its new movie on Facebook, The Social Network.
The teaser is really limited in detail but it does leave a lot of interest in my opinion and i can’t wait to see the movie.
The movie is partyl based on the book – The Accidental Billionaires. It looks at the early day of Facebook, from Mark Zuckerberg’s Harvard dorm room and it’s early success before coming a main-steam household name.
The movie is directed by David Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin.
Jesse Eisenberg stars as Mark Zuckerberg and the movie is due to hit cinemas in October.
The films tagline ‘You can’t make 500 million friends without making a few enemies’ is an accurate portrayal of the early days establishing Facebook. The young creators of the site including Zuckerberg are all faced with several challenges along their road to success – loyalty, jealousy and money.
In my opinion, whilst the movie may showcase some of Facebook’s errors made in the last – this film will make Facebook even more popular and watched than it already is.
