Facebook To Let You Embed Status Updates Like Twitter

on August 5, 2013 | Facebook | Comments (0)

Facebook has announced that they will allow users to embed status updates on external websites to Facebook.

Similar to Twitter, this will allow Facebook content to spread even further across the web, in addition to the Facebook Like Button and their other social plugins.

This feature is not publicly available just yet – only a handful of US publications have access to this new functionality with roll out to the public in weeks to come.

As you can see users will be able to Like the update, Comment, Share and also like the page itself from these embedded posts.

You will only be able to embed posts that are public status updates.

We will keep you updated when this becomes publicly available.
