Facebook upgrades iPhone app, version 3.4
Facebook has just released an update of their iOS application (version 3.4) into the Apple App Store.
There are several updates to the app worth noting:
– You can now ‘unfriend’ people via your iPhone app
– Facebook places now has an upgraded Map view
– Users are now able to check into ‘events’ rather than just specific locations. Currently this feature is only available to Facebook iPhone users. But no doubt they will roll out to other devices (Blackberry, Android, Nokia in the future).
– Slight improvements and updates to the news feed and notifications areas
