Google Launches Encrypted Search HTTPS
You are now able to run an encrypted search using the Google search engine.
Simply goto https://www.google.com
The feature brings the same security you experience with online banking or shopping.
The encryption makes it incredibly hard for anyone in between your computer and Google’s servers to see what search you are running. Also when clicking through from a search result no referral information is passed onto the site being visited.
Currently the encrypted search is only available on Google.com with a rollout to country specific sites at a later date.
