Google launches Google+ Social Network

Google has launched a new social network/ social media site called Google + https://plus.google.com

The product is in Beta mode and only available for selected people with an Invite from Google.

The tool is to rival other social media sites, mainly Facebook.

The product has a couple different features:

Circles

Circles allow you to share some content with your friends, other stuff with your family, and nothing with your boss.

Similar to Facebook friends lists in a way.

Hangouts

Hangouts is a place where you can upload your photos, have group conversations with friends, including video chats.

Sparks

Sparks is your news feed and updates from your Google + network

It also shows you content you may be interested in based on your interests.

Huddle

Huddle is a group chat feature that lets you have conversations with multiple people all in one dialogue.

Instant Upload

Instant Upload is a tool that automatically uploads your videos and pictures from your phone to your Google + account and is totally private, you then decide what to make public.
