Instagram – Facebook Integration Revamped

Instagram has made some improvements in the way photos are posted from the App to your Facebook profile/ timeline.

Previously Instagram would post a small thumbnail size photo to your Facebook profile, with a link to view the image on Instagram.

This process has changed.

Now when you post an Instagram photo to your timeline, it will post a much larger size image that looks good with the new profile layout.

Also, Instagram will automatically create a new album called Instagram Photos in which all Instagram photos will be saved.

The privacy setting for this album will initially be whatever is your default privacy setting, but of course you can change the privacy settings on a per album basis with the Timeline profile.

Whilst this is only a small change from Instagram, it will no doubt encourage much more sharing to Facebook, which could in turn prompt new users to download the application.
