LinkedIn Lauches new Social News product: LinkedIn Today

LinkedIn has just launched a new news product for their site, which is a Social News Service called LinkedIn Today.

This allows users to follow news publications or blogs and keep regularly updated via LinkedIn of any recent news.

An algorithm determines what is the most appropriate news for you, determined by your contacts and network.

This looks like a move to get users further engaging and visiting the site far more frequently. Now users have a reason to visit the site on a daily basis.
