LinkedIn reaches 150 Million Members

LinkedIn has just announced their 4th Quarter Financial Results for 2011 and a number of other interesting facts about their social network:

  • Site now has 150 million registered members
  • Revenue for Q4 2011 was $167.7 million USD, up 105% from Q4 2010
  • Net income for Q4 2011 was $6.9 million USD
  • For the full 2011 year revenue was $522.2 million USD
  • 2/3 of LinkedIn revenue comes from the USA
  • LinkedIn has rolled out a whole new backend interface – large internal software project
  • LinkedIn continues to open new offices and release the site in new languages. All of which will increase member growth and sales into 2012
  • Over 50,000 Developers use the LinkedIn API
  • There are more than 2 million LinkedIn company pages
  • Over 300,000 domains have installed the LinkedIn share button
