Marissa Mayer is the new Yahoo CEO
Can this be right? One of Google’s top executives poached by Yahoo?
It’s happened, Marissa Mayer – the former VP of Maps and Local at Google is now CEO of Yahoo Inc.
This is obviously going to be a very challenging position for Marissa, no doubt one of the main reasons why she has taken this job. Yahoo is a transforming company and present and needs and identifiable leader to show all Yahoos and the world the way forward.
It will also been interesting to see how Marissa leads the Yahoo team in their search efforts with Microsoft, and content partnerships with Facebook.
