Microsoft launches social media aggregator Spindex

Microsoft has launched a social media aggregator – www.spindex.me

Spindex aggregates regular social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. In addition to that it looks at RSS feeds, bookmarking services, and Microsoft’s Bing.

Currently the system is in a closed private-beta mode – but users can sign in with their Windows Live ID.

The tool indexes and archives more data than regular sites but also has a ‘trending topics’ section.
