Microsoft Revenue Surges thanks to Office 2010 and Windows 7
Windows 7 was released to consumer in October 2009 and 9 months later 175 Million copies have been sold.
This takes the title as the fastest selling Operating System in History.
According to Microsoft in their last quarter they have $16.04 billion in revenue, a 22% increase.
During the 2009-2010 Fiscal year Microsoft’s revenue was $62.48 billion!
The Windows 7 OS has resulted in $18.49 billion in revenue.
Microsoft makes most of its revenue from the Windows, Server and Business Divisions.
