NBN Co opens Melbourne Op Centre
NBN Co has now opened their Melbourne Operations Centre as part of their national broadband rollout.
The centre at Docklands, Melbourne will be the headquarters for managing the day to day operations of Australia’s broadband network, and is expected to create 900 jobs in Victoria by the end of 2012.
The centre cost about $32 million to design and build.
NBN Co has also unveiled a mobile ‘NBN Truck’ that can drive around Australia and how people how the NBN works and how it will benefit education, health and business.
