NBNCo joins Twitter – worth keeping an eye on
NBNCo Limited is the company responsibly for rolling out and managing Australia’s $43-Billion National Broadband Network (NBN).
NBNCo is a Hobart based firm, and whilst there has been fair criticism of the NBN the positive is super fast internet speeds that not many countries are currently enjoying.
Google is looking to roll out a super fast fibre optic network in Kansas City, USA allowing downloads of up to 1BG/s, which is taking ‘super computing’ to the next level.
Google Executive – Eric Schmidt, sees the Australian NBN as positive step forward and I now believe a competitive edge in moving this countries technology infrastructure to the next level.
