Opera v Chrome Gets Hitler Video Treatment

Opera Software last week released version 10.60 of its internet web browser and titled their press release ‘What is faster than the fastest?’.

Opera has created new features, like built-in geolocation and webM support, but mainly showcasing its increased Speed and Efficiency.

There have been several tests around the internet not conclusively showing Opera as the fastest browser, but the competition does create some good laughs.

Personally after having tried the new version I do enjoy Opera and it looks great – but in terms of actual page rendering, i believe Chrome is way ahead of Opera, or even Mozilla Firefox. This may be it is due to the DNS pre-fetching feature in Chrome or, possible because Chrome stores huge cache memory. Maybe Chrome was just built for speed from ground up, whereas other browser companies are just trying to speed up old technology. Regardless I do believe Chrome is still the fastest.
