Tumblr Now Over 6 Million Users, 1.5 Billion Pageviews A Month

One year ago- July 2009, Tumblr was going well. They had 255 million pageviews for the month. At November of last year, that was 420 million page views. But new stats from Tumblr shows an explosion in growth.

Tumblr is now at 1.5 billion pageviews a month.

Tumblr is now a top 50 site in the US in traffic generated. Half of Tumblr’s 6.25 million users are in the U.S and posting 4.5 million posts a day — compared to 650,000 new posts a year ago.

Tumblr is now growing by 300 million pageviews per month. They are also growing by 25,000 new users a day.

later this week Tumblr is being launched in 4 other languages – English, French, Japanese, German, and Italian for each of these themes.
