Twitter launches Embedded tweets
As mentioned in a previous blog post, Twitter has been working on an embedded tweet feature for website owners.
This embeddable tweet feature is now live and can be found here.
The tool called Blackbird Pie is very simple and all you have to do is paste in the tweet URL and press ‘Bake it’. You will then be presented the HTML to paste into your website to display that particular tweet.
At the moment the code is rather long winded and messy – however we are ensured a cleaner, shorter version of this feature is coming.
Below is an example of one of my own tweets – you will see the @-mentions, hashtags and the account name itself are all clickable links
