Windows 7 sales very strong, 150 million so far, 7 every second
Microsoft has spent considerable time developing their new operating System Windows 7 and it looks like they are reaping the rewards already.
Windows 7 was launched in October 2009 and has sold 150 million copies so far – that is 7 every second.
A lot of these sales are going to enterprises whom did not purchase Vista due to the financial crisis and also the lack of praise it received.
Microsoft has estimated that 75 percent of companies/enterprises considering Windows 7.
I’m sure it won’t take Microsoft to sell 300 million copies at this rate.
