WordPress 3.0 now available

WordPress 3.0 has just been released.

If you are using WordPress you will see the update link has now appeared inside your WordPress account.

3.0 is the thirteenth major release of the popular blogging software. It has taken 6 months and 218 contributors to create.

The best way to find out more about version 3.0 is to try the Twenty Ten theme also known as ‘Thelonius’.

WordPress has created the following video to give you some more information and visuals on the new version. The video does seem to stop intermittently for some reason but still usable.

One of the major enhancements is you will now be able to run multiple blogs from the same installation.

Like always I would wait a week or 2 before upgrading as like any new release there may be some initial bugs to iron out.
