WordPress releasing their own PPC Ad Network
Everyday 50,000 new WordPress blogs are created.
Over the years many WordPress bloggers have looked to ads and advertising to make money off their blogs. This has lead to WordPress developing their own Ad network, which has been unveiled today.
WordAds – the new advertising network by WordPress.
So far its understood that WordAds will be predominately display ads (pictures, graphics, video). Like Google Adsense/ Adwords the ads will be contextually targeted based on the blogs content.
It’s expected that the WordAds system will be ready by Q1 2012. We will keep you updated with more details when they emerge.
