Yahoo Australia buys Sports Tipping Site OzTips

Yahoo!7 – the Australian arm of Yahoo has acquired a Australian sports site OzTips.com

OzTips is Australia’s largest online sports tipping sites which allows users to create private tipping competitions between friends / colleagues/ family etc.

This now doubles the audience Yahoo!7 sports has.

Yahoo!7 is purchasing OzTips from the parent company NextGen.Net Pty

No financial details on the deal have been released yet.

Yahoo has really been ramping up Globally the number of strategic acquisitions. Good to see Yahoo in expansion mode.
