Yahoo Buys Associated Content for $100 Million
Yahoo has purchased Associated Content, a US media company for US$100 Million.
Associated press is a media company where contributors get paid to create and submit articles, videos, stories, audio and images on any topic or subject.
Currently there are over 350,000 Contributors and 60,000 subjects.
This is a smart acquisition for Yahoo as they look for cost media content for their web site properties which draw in over 600 million unique visitors per month.
