Apple App downloads soaring, close to 10 Billion

The Apple iTunes App store is now close to hitting 10 Billion application downloads since inception.

It seems about 150 apps are downloaded every second around the world.

The 10 Billionth download will result in that user winning a prize of $10,000 (USD) iTunes gift card. That’s a lot of movies, games, apps, songs etc! 🙂
