Apple demos HTML5

Apple is a firm believer of the open web, even though their App store by many is a closed system.

This week Apple has created a showcase of HTML5 technology and has gained the attention of developers worldwide.

While HTML5 is nowhere near mainstream yet, and wont be for sometime – Apple is interested to see HTML5 as this allows rich content on mobile platforms like the iPad and iPhone without the necessity for flash type technology.

Apple put together the following page to showcase some HTML5 examples
