BuzzNumbersHQ is a social media monitoring service based here in Sydney, and their clients include a number of large organisations around Australia.

These guys are some of the first in Australia to get in the social media space – starting up in 2007.

Continuing their innovative approach, BuzzNumbersHQ have launched a new Australian Twitter search website/ application - http://www.aussietwittersearch.com/

This is a neat app, that lets you search the bios of Australian Twitter users.

For example you could search ‘social media’ and it will return results of everyone with the world social media in their bio – you can then download the results in a Excel / CSV file.

This has a number of useful purposes such as business development, recruitment, finding a specific industry experts, and general networking with people in your industry.

When you run a search, people with the most followers and who match your search criteria and shown first.

This website is in Beta release, but why not go along and give it a try.
