Facebook launches optimised mobile site

Facebook has launched a new mobile optimised site that is designed for speed and very low data cost – 0.facebook.com

Facbook has around 100 million users globally accessing Facebook from their mobile, so this does seem like a smart move to service countries with low data services.

This service is not available in Australia just yet, but will be soon on the Telstra networks then other networks later on.
