Google purchase Admob in November 2009 for US$750 million. Apple was also throwing up and offer but Google substantially overpaid to the keep the company out of Apple’s hands.

Apple is now moving away from AdMob advertising in the apps to the iAD advertising system which keeps all advertising in app instead of our of apply advertising like AdMob.,
