Google to launch iTunes competitor, Google Music

It looks like Google will be releasing an iTunes competitor called Google Music for the Android phones.

Google music will be a web based system whereby users can go view music and download to their device.

Google music will be very much a cloud based music store.

Google recently purchased a company called Simplify Media which will allow Google Music to sync with your PC, probably over a cloud based environment once again.

Apple is also rumored to be releasing a cloud based version of iTunes.
