iOS 5.0.1 update released

Apple has now released iOS update 5.0.1

This fixes a number of bugs, but most importantly for Australian users:

– battery draining problems
– better voice recognition for an Australian accent.

I’m hoping it also fixes the SOS only problem many of us have been experiencing, but I can’t find much information on this.

This is also the first update you will be able to do by connecting via wireless to itunes. If you already have iOS5 installed, this update is around 60MB to install and therefore over wireless seems to be pretty quick.
