Microsoft to release Windows TV Set top boxes
Microsoft will be revealing new software to run on Set top box devices which enables a Windows TV experience.
The Software will make use of Microsoft’s Windows Embedded platform and the Windows Media Center interface.
The software will also be able to work with XBOX 360 devices, otherwise your computer. One of the devices will have to be connected to your TV to make it work.
The overall package is very sophisticated and will give other rivals such as Apple and Google real competition in the Web-TV space.
