  • Run polls using the new Facebook questions feature to get users engaging with your brand.
  • Make sure you have a Facebook like box on your website or blog so people can easily Like you. Also consider having a Like or Facebook share button on each of your blog post for easy content sharing.
  • Setup a nice looking landing page to encourage users to Like your Facebook page.
  • Make sure you respond to all feedback and comments left on your wall.

Remember a lot of your customers and users are already on Facebook, even if it’s just for personal use. Find a way to get them interacting with your brand.

  • Can you recommend a good website to develop an effective Facebook landing page? The ones I have looked at seem so difficult to use. I'd preferably like a program that didn't require a lengthy understanding of HTML/CSS etc.

    If so, send me an email and i'll give you the code. There are plenty of free facebook page creators but they all usually drop a link in the footer – which doesn't look professional in my opinion.

    I believe it's best to concentrate on getting the initial like, then direct people to your information, eg wall.

      We're looking for something a little more detailed. I would like to promote our monthly research reports and farm photo's etc. Not too phased about having a link in the footer, just eager to give the page a facelift. I was playing around on ShortStack but couldn't get to speak to my facebook page.
