Steve Jobs & Apple unveil iPad 2

Steve Jobs has unveiled Apple’s iPad 2 in San Francisco yesterday.

What is new about the iPad 2? Here is a summary:

– Its an all new design, not just a tweak of the 1st gen iPad

– Comes with a new A5 chip, with dual core processors, which is twice as fast the 1st gen iPad

– 9 times faster graphics

– Still has around 10 hours battery life

– This will be one of the first dual core tablets

– 2 built in camera, 1 rear, 1 front facing camera

– Built in gyroscope

– 33% thinner in size than 1st gen iPad at 8.8 mm thick which is thinner than the iPhone 4, and weighing just 1.3 pound.

– It comes in 2 colours, both black and white
