iOS 5.0.1 update due soon

on November 7, 2011 | Apple | Comments (0)

There is no doubt the new iOS5 update has provided iPhone and iPad users lots of great new features (iMessage, Notifications centre, new apps, Twitter integration).

However with this update comes a couple annoying bugs that Apple are working hard to address, such as:

  • decreased battery life for iPhone 3GS and 4 users
  • security flaw in the iPad where a password locked device can be accessed without a password
  • and what I also think is important, iPhones are often going into SOS Only mode. I’m think this may have something to do with interference with other electronic devices.

The iOS 5.0.1 update is already in beta release to developers and we wait for the update to be sent to iTunes. It should be released very soon – we’ll keep you updated when we see the release roll out to the general public.
